My Heart
Most of what I write has been learned the hard way ~ through waiting, questioning, obedience, disappointment, and the slow work of letting God change me. I haven’t always done these things well but one day I decided that I wanted to.
I looked back on may life as most of us do and what I saw, I didn’t like. Who I promised I would never be, I became. How I promised I would never act, I acted. What I swore I would never do, I did. That made me realize where unintentional life can lead if we don’t choose to walk with God.
After some time, I decided to get to know the God I had claimed to love all my life. Not the God I was taught to love or the God I was supposed to love but the God I needed to get to know for myself. His personality, His word, His ways and why. That is where I am today. It started with a desire and continues as a desire growing every day. Through my mistakes, I still find myself growing and I hope to provide others with newer eyes, earlier than I got mine.
If you think you are doing great without God, and many do, imagine what you can do with Him.
